Hi, While using system() to run external programs I noticed that trying to run programs using DOS4GW (or any other non-djgpp extender) resulted in the computer hanging. Why is this? This doesn't happen with real-mode compilers -- I assume it's a conflict between extenders. This also happens the other way round; calling a djgpp program from within a Watcom/DOS4GW program results in a crash also. My question: how can this unpleasant behaviour be circumvented/avoided? TIA Elliott
