Or perhaps it dosent need to be fixed because it works fine already? 

Or at least it does for me (latest version of everything).

The problem that knocked out allegro for me was the va_list conflict problem,
which I solved by searching this newsgroup. Once that was patched allegro
compiles without complaint.
